Sales Training:
Profile Tiling is a business set up in 1999 for the purpose of educating and teaching the art of wall & floor tiling. Our main business to date is training people to start up and operate their own business as tilers.

In response to many requests from Tile Centres we have recently designed a course which is aimed at providing information about tiles to those who do not wish to learn how to tile but who need a full understanding of the tiling industry.

TILES UNCOVERED
An intensive and detailed Training Course designed to provide your staff with a full understanding of tiling. Staff trained by us can then assist their customers with a high degree of efficiency, thus ensuring smooth transactions and repeat business. For new or existing staff, our courses supply a high degree of knowledge about tiles and tiling products that can make your sales staff more efficient.

We will train your staff in the following areas

Tiles
A comprehensive guide to all types of tiles available at present . How to select the correct tiles for your customers needs .

Adhesives & Grouts
A comprehensive guide to selecting the correct adhesives & grouts for each application .
Measuring & Estimating
Calculate the amounts of tiles, adhesive & grouts required - based on measurements supplied by the customer / by a visit to the work site / by reading construction plans .
Conversions
All the conversions needed to calculate , estimate , complete the sale and supply the correct amounts of tiles to your customers.
Tile Manufacture
A basic introduction to the manufacturing process which gives a better knowledge and understanding of the product being sold.
Salesmanship
A basic guide to selling. How the sales staff should prepare and conduct themselves before, during and after the sale.
Tile Associated Products
Trims - Seals - Movement joints, tanking systems - Tools etc.

Courses are prepared and delivered by a qualified training instructor who has extensive experience in - Tile sales in retail sector / Tile installation in the Domestic - Commercial - Industrial sectors.

Classes are operated from our training facility based in Tullamore.

Class are limited to 5/6 persons. Our small class sizes mean that more time is spent with each student thus ensuring they learn and understand all they are taught. Completion certificates are presented to each person who attends and completes the course.

Training manual, stationery & course materials, training certificate, sandwiches / snacks @ 10.30 am., lunch / dinner @ 1.30 pm. are included in the cost of the course.
